Financing

For years the man of the house has always been the breadwinner of the family and the woman keeps the house running smoothly. This has worked fairly well when the family works together and has good communication, part of this communication is talking about money and how/where it is going to be spent. Planning out a budget as a couple is a great way to avoid confrontation with in the marriage when it comes to money, this budgeting helps to track where to money is going and where it should be going. It is really easy to filter all our thinking through money as a sense of power but if you know where the money will be going than you can focus on other things as a couple.  It is also important to teach your kids the importance of money skills so that they can learn to be smart with it early and they can avoid the headache of debt and other things like that. Communication and Problem solving

In the family there is almost always conflict. A serious argument or a disagreement might last for longer than we anticipated and its important for us as a family to have good communication to talk out our problems and resolve things that might not be able to resolve themselves. The Holy Ghost also plays a big role in the communication that we have because he is able to enlighten our minds to the needs of others and can help us become more aware of those in our families and sometimes outside our families. Satan seeks to destroy the family through contention because he knows that the home is a place that can be a place of refuge for us to escape the world.
